Had a great shoot this week with WJCT, Jacksonville's local PBS station. We shot a pledge break that will air during the airing of Tommy Emmanuel, a master guitar player of the finger picking style. My co-host Gary was fun and witty and really made the break easy to film. Its all adlib so sometimes it can be easy to flub up, but this time was the smoothest yet. Yesterday I took a road trip with my friend and model Tara Block down to Tampa to visit one of her agents, Benz Models and Talent Agency. My hopes were to present my portfolio, headshot, and resume and perhaps pick up an agent in south Florida. A quick recap. Wednesday's trip to shoot with Disney was great! I was cast as a young mom and got to ride some fun rides with my new faux family, complete with Grandparents, a 4 year old daughter and a husband. The shoot was basically a stock shoot for Disney and its travel affiliates to use in brochures and promotional materials. I just heard from the Diamond Agency, my agent in Orlando, and I'm booked for a print ad with Disney tomorrow! For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am expecting! I'm in week 10 of my first trimester and things are going great:) I'm over the morning sickness, it was quite brief for me thank God. Before I left for Europe I had the great new challenge of producing a full day shoot for Stock photographer and stock video director, Jim Arbogast. It's been a great experience learning from Jim. He shoots and uploads for Getty Images. One of the elite sites for commercial images. We aim to be like Jim as we grow in this industry. The shoot was a huge event. At the beginning of May my husband and I were hired to do what we do best, get married! Yes, we have become experts at getting married to eachother. It seems if you need people to pretend to get married, we are the go to couple. It started the first week we were dating. And from there, the rest is history.

This past week I participated in Designer Erin Healy's private showing at Jacksonville's River Club in downtown Jacksonville. This private fashion show was held high at the top of the Modis building. It is one of the most prominent buildings on the skyline and boasts one of the most breathtaking views around town.

We are smack in the middle of Busy season now! This week I have 4 shoots! Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting with amazing photographer, graphic artist, and stylist Natalie McCray, and amazing makeup Artist Kimtasha. The results were amazing! Something totally different for me!
She took advantage of the actress in me and got me out of the box from my normal modeling style. I loved it! They did a great job on my hair and the Gold Leafing was so cool!
