I am honored to announce that I made the final 10 of the Jacksonville Magazine Cover Model Search. This year the final runway show is in conjunction with Jacksonville's first Jacksonville Fashion Week. This weekend my very talented husband and I decided to go out and have some fun. He had some inspiration and I was happy to Oblige. You can see more of his work at www.journeyphotography.com . A quick recap. Wednesday's trip to shoot with Disney was great! I was cast as a young mom and got to ride some fun rides with my new faux family, complete with Grandparents, a 4 year old daughter and a husband. The shoot was basically a stock shoot for Disney and its travel affiliates to use in brochures and promotional materials. No promises on ever finding those tears, but hopefully I'll get more opportunities to work with them in the future. It was surreal being there and reliving my child... Continue reading ...

I just heard from the Diamond Agency, my agent in Orlando, and I'm booked for a print ad with Disney tomorrow!  I don't know a lot of the details but its my first job with Disney so I'm very excited to finally work with them. I pray this leads to more future opportunities with them. At the beginning of May my husband and I were hired to do what we do best, get married! Yes, we have become experts at getting married to eachother. It seems if you need people to pretend to get married, we are the go to couple. It started the first week we were dating. And from there, the rest is history.

This week has been a great week so far. Monday I was called in for last minute shoot with Luxury Living Jacksonville's Wedding and Event Style Magazine with photographer Paul Figura. Tuesday I was called in to shoot with Lexus, and Wednesday I had a great fashion show. I'm definitely on a high from all the fun work!

Last month I had the pleasure of modeling for my friend and designer Erin Healy. Her line is inspired by nature, so it came as no surprise when I found out we'd be shooting at the Botanical Gardens at the Jacksonville Zoo. Last week I had the honor of being photographed by a newcomer to town. Steve and his lighting tech Shawn, were so fun to work with and proved to be very professional and flexible to some of the ideas I had. Michelle Axtell provided the brilliant makeup. The thing I love about this industry is the freedom to discover all the many layers we as humans have to offer. Talented and well known stock photographer, he has shot for the likes of Coca Cola, Smoothie King, American Express, and Hard Rock just to name a few. We are smack in the middle of Busy season now! This week I have 4 shoots! Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting with amazing photographer, graphic artist, and stylist Natalie McCray, and amazing makeup Artist Kimtasha. The results were amazing! Something totally different for me!
She took advantage of the actress in me and got me out of the box from my normal modeling style. I loved it! They did a great job on my hair and the Gold Leafing was so cool!

I had the great joy of working with our close friend and fellow photographer Jim Cox of Lomografieur this week. He has recently been delving back into his film roots and decided to do a shoot with me in the studio. It was great fun. I got to pick the wardrobe and opted for something that represented me.
