I'm very honored to have been included in the February issue of Jacksonville Magazine. Featured as one of the 10 most Beautiful Women in Jacksonville. This was a nomination by my peers so it means even more to me. I would like to say thank you to those who nominated me, and thank you to Jacksonville Magazine for including me.

How I made it Back

After being in the entertainment industry for more than seven years, I was more than a little anxious as to how having a child would effect my professional image. Forty-seven pounds later, and one stressful pregnancy put me in a very large slump. I was dealing with post-partum depression and all the ups and downs that come with having a newborn in your home. I barely had time to shower, let alone get back into shape. Some of the baby weight came off with nursing, but there was still a long way to go to get back to my pre-baby size. I had serious doubts that would ever be a reality. That's where Marie came in. We had been friends for a couple years and had always talked of working together but never made it a reality, this time Marie wouldn't take no for an answer. She did everything in her power to make it work for me, including working around my infant daughter and her schedule. For almost a year now my daughter and I have been in and out of the Momentum Fitness & Health Studios every week almost every day. In that process I've seen a major transformation, not just in myself but in my daughter. I've returned to my pre-baby size, and I'm in better shape than I have ever been. No signs of depression linger any more. Mentally, and physically I have been revived! My daughter has become a sort of mascot at the gym. Raising her to understand the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle has already made her more social, active, and balanced. I cannot tell you how impressed I have been at the level of professionalism this facility demonstrates. Furthermore, Marie and the rest of the trainers at Momentum treat you like more than a client, they treat you like family. For all of their time and energy, I am grateful. For their friendship, I am blessed.

Jax Fashion Week Part 1

Last night was the first night of Jax Fashion Week and it was a blast! Crazy and fun, and tons of energy. Not many pics are out yet since it was a late night and its just the morning after, but here is a preview of the fun. I was walking for Argie Mitra, and Lile Usetche. Both designs I walked in were amazing! Here is a sneak peak. This one by Lile.

Fashion Week Events Begin

The events have begun and its been a fun and busy week!
First we had the night out at Sax! I was modeling for Mitra by Argie Mitra. You may recall this dress from one of my previous modeling posts.

Next was the meet and greet at the Brasserie with Erin Healy, Lauren Rossi, and Argie Mitra.
This night I was modeling for Lauren Rossi. Lauren is also modeling her own designs at the far left.

Yesterday I had the fun of doing a segment on Action News with the rest of the Jacksonville Magazine Cover Model Contestants being featured at Jacksonville Fashion Week.

New Tears and Runway shows on the horizon

I am honored to announce that I made the final 10 of the Jacksonville Magazine Cover Model Search. This year the final runway show is in conjunction with Jacksonville's first Jacksonville Fashion Week. I will be walking for the competition on March 24th at the Casa Marina (a little secret, if you look closely at their website you will see pictures from my wedding) for the Fabulous Emerging Designers. I will also be walking for the talented Erin Healy on March 25th, at The Jacksonville Bank Building.
